Designed with freestyle function in mind, the Dead Money is constructed using Lightweight High Performance SEBS plastic and a high rebound PU Ether Dual-Fold Tongue allowing you to go big, spin faster, and stomp the landings clean. The new Dual-Fold Tongue Design allows the boot to feature a progressive 90-120 flex, making the boot softer and reactive at first and then progressing to a stiff flex to support hard landings. This tongue design makes the 3 Buckle Concept possible, reducing the weight by about 10% compared to a traditional 4 buckle boot. Nordica utilizes their three buckle system, with the middle buckle offering excellent wrap over the instep to guarantee safe and comfortable landings. Nordica Pros like Peter Olenick, Tucker Perkins, and Justin Dorey insisted on the best in shock absorption provided by the Shock Eraser wedge, footbed, and rear spoiler to provide the necessary dampening required when mastering new park tricks. Another sick feature specific to Nordica is the Baggy Pant Holder which allows you to tuck your ski pants into the clip on the back keeping them out of your bindings and in mint condition, so your mom can get off your back about ruining another expensive pair of pants.
